Gobindganj is located at distance of 30 Km from Motihari town.It has the greatest Shiva peetham (Sri shomeswar nath Mahadev temple).Millions of people come each year to offer their worship and deity. It is ranked after Babadham(Jharkhand).It has gift of fertility by Mother Ganga in the form of Boodhi Gandak River. At Ramayana period, The famous fight of Lav-Kusha and Sri Ram sena took place at Sangrampur of Gobindganj. It is One among the culturally sound places of Bihar.
1st time in the History of Gobindganj a young son of soil,who is Development Professional ( Vikash Vid) ,from IDS ( world best) London with glorious educational and social background is contesting.
